About Me
What's up? I'm James Walton, a student at the University of Oregon. I'm pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Business, expected June 2013. Born and raised in California, I graduated from Monte Vista High School, class of 2008! I love living in California. Since I was little, I've had an appreciation for the outdoors and the activities that come with. I love sports and my favorite team is the San Francisco Giants.
The University of Oregon is in Eugene, Oregon, once voted America's "Top Green City". The city has developed around the University, so there is that "College-Town" atmosphere. I will start my last year of college in the fall of 2012. On campus, I am a member of the Sigma Nu chapter, Warsaw Sports Marketing Club and the Net Impact undergraduate chapter. My first game at Autzen was a victory over Stanford which the Ducks dominated, of course. When I'm not in class or studying at the library (Hi mom!) I love to play pick up basketball with friends at the Rec Center.
I am enrolled in Tiffin University's Olympic Academic Experience. This blog will feature my encounters as I travel to London to study the theory and organization of the Olympic Games.
